As a footrest: 2 to 3 cm below the seat
Measure the height of your sofa seat from the floor to the top of the cushion. The furniture maker OKA recommends a footrest 2 to 3 cm lower, for a more comfortable angle of the legs. To sit on a pouf, height matters more than width. The Debra (€79.90) and the Ivy (€80.85) are 50 cm high on four wooden legs, with a 45 x 45 cm seat. The bohemian Jacqueline (€89.90) is 42 cm high and filled with polystyrene beads. The Cub (37 cm, €49.90) is used as an extra seat on its product photos but stays low.
