The 25 to 30 cm gap leaves room for your thighs under the top. Deko District's own product page for the 76 cm Stylix states it is suited to high worktops of about 105 cm, which matches the rule. Measure your top before ordering: a stool that is too high is the most common mistake. If you are unsure, a height-adjustable stool avoids the risk.
