How many people around which table
A commonly used guideline is about 60 cm of table edge per person. Applied to the tables above:
- Square 80 x 80 cm (Stylix): 4 people, one per side.
- Round 90 cm (Tulip 90): about 4 people, a little tight.
- Round 110 cm (Bayron, Tulip 110, Tulip 110 marble): about 5 people. The pages differ: Tulip 110 states up to 4, Bayron 6 to 7.
- Round 120 cm (Tauwa, Tulip 120, Tulip 120 marble): about 6 people, as stated on the Tauwa page.
- Round 137 cm (Barrel): about 7 people.
- Oval 199 x 122 cm (Tulip oval marble): about 8 people.
Plan for about 75 to 90 cm between the edge of the table and the wall so chairs can be pulled out. A 120 cm round table therefore needs a space of roughly 2.7 to 3 m across.
Round, square or oval
- Round on a central base (Tulip range): no legs at the corners, so knees and chairs move more freely and an extra chair is easier to add.
- Square (Stylix): fits against a wall or in a corner of a small kitchen; two can be placed side by side for 6.
- Oval (Tulip oval marble): the only model in the range for 8 people.
The tables are 72 to 78 cm high. A common guideline is to leave about 25 to 30 cm between the chair seat and the table top.
