Which TV stand width for which screen size?

Screen sizes are measured diagonally in inches. For a 16:9 television, the width of the screen alone is the diagonal in inches multiplied by about 2.21 to get centimetres. The frame and the stand of the TV add a little more, so check the exact width on your TV's technical sheet.

Screen size Screen width (16:9, without frame) Models wide enough
32 inches 70.8 cm all 11 models
43 inches 95.2 cm all 11 models
50 inches 110.7 cm all 11 models
55 inches 121.8 cm Yani (140 cm), Bena (160 cm)
65 inches 143.9 cm Bena (160 cm)
75 inches 166 cm none, consider wall mounting
  • Up to 50 inches: every model in this selection is at least 120 cm wide, so the screen stays within the top of the stand.
  • 55 inches: the screen alone measures about 122 cm, slightly more than a 120 cm stand. Yani (140 cm, €99.90) and Bena (160 cm, €149.06) leave space on each side.
  • 65 inches: about 144 cm of screen. Bena, at 160 cm, is the only model here wide enough.
  • 75 inches and more: about 166 cm of screen, wider than every stand in this selection.
Bena Scandinavian TV stand, 160 cm wide, with white doors, a yellow compartment and dark grey drawers

Height and depth

  • Height: from 30 cm for Tove, the lowest model, to 50.8 cm for Norman and Egil. A low stand puts the screen lower in the room, a higher one raises it.
  • Depth: 29.8 cm for Waan, Aren, Yani and Bena, 35 cm for Lubi, Bjorn, Tove and Daven, 39.8 cm for Norman and Egil, and 60 cm for Lenark according to its product page. If your TV stands on two feet placed at the ends, check their depth and spacing on its technical sheet before choosing a shallow model.
